Pariká —also known as Pereira in the jungles of Brazil— is an essentially ceremonial variety that acts on the spiritual plane. Its preparation is artisanal and contains only two components: Pariká ash and rope tobacco. Deeply rooted in the tradition of the Kaxinawá people, it is one of the rapés with the greatest presence in ceremonies of Amazonian indigenous peoples. It is used to achieve balance of the "inner earth" and to perform cleansing of negative charges or dense energies. More than a physical healing focus, Pariká is a tool of ancestral strength that facilitates connection with spiritual guides and the opening of pathways, promoting integral energetic purification.
